Musical Theatre Australia creates musicals with a unique Australian sound. MTA musicals focus on giving a voice to people who are marginalised or forgotten, especially women.
MTA was founded by composer Aleathea Monsour and writer Katy Forde.
The two women, partners in life as well as in music, have written and produced several musicals together.
